The Aspiring Dreamz Foundation Our Mission The foundation mission is to give children the opportunity to experience classes in goal setting and the arts free of charge. Not all children will excel in academics so these after school programs give children a chance to find success in other areas and discover hidden talents that may lead to incredible careers. Where The Funds Go "The Aspiring Dreamz Foundation's goal is to fund after school programs in the Rhode Island school system and other childrens' organizations. The funds from the foundation bring in not only arts programs (Dance, Karate, Music, Theater, Voice, Drama etc.) but also programs designed to help children find different career choices. This includes the Aspiring Dreamz Workshop. Why I started the foundation I started this foundation because when I was ten years old I had so much energy, and I didn't like school very much. I was given the opportunity to take a dance class when my Mom enrolled me in an after school dance program. Because of this after school program I found something that I loved and could be good at. I believe this program not only taught me discipline but also gave me confidence in myself. I believed that I could accomplish anything. At age 20 my dream came true. I opened my own dance studio. Had I not had this opportunity I may never have found my passion and been able to truly have a career that has brought me happiness.
